Actually, jumping out to a huge lead seems to be detrimental to the Sox, they play much better in close games. I dont know which one I would want with the Red Sox though, a close game or pile on at the beginning of the game and hold them off. The Rangers jumped out to a big lead against the Red Sox a few times and they just came right back and won.
