August 26, 200520 yr Last I heard he was rehabbing down in Charlotte this weekend and returning on Monday. Hopefully all goes well this weekend.
August 27, 200520 yr QUOTE(Finkelstein @ Aug 26, 2005 -> 06:39 PM) Last I heard he was rehabbing down in Charlotte this weekend and returning on Monday. Hopefully all goes well this weekend. He did not play in Charlotte tonight, but Borchard did take Shingo deep for #27
August 27, 200520 yr I sure hope he's back playing SOON...and playing to the base stealing form that energized this team. I'm not the first to say it, but PODS is the biggest single offensive weapon we have.
August 27, 200520 yr QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Aug 27, 2005 -> 03:18 AM) He did not play in Charlotte tonight, but Borchard did take Shingo deep for #27 Slow pitch against slow bat speed = homer
August 27, 200520 yr QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 26, 2005 -> 10:31 PM) Slow pitch against slow bat speed = homer That accounts for 1 out of 27.
August 27, 200520 yr QUOTE(Finkelstein @ Aug 26, 2005 -> 06:39 PM) Last I heard he was rehabbing down in Charlotte this weekend and returning on Monday. Hopefully all goes well this weekend. Where's he gonna play?
August 27, 200520 yr QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Aug 26, 2005 -> 10:18 PM) He did not play in Charlotte tonight, but Borchard did take Shingo deep for #27 That's hilarious. I need footage of that.
August 27, 200520 yr I can't wait till Timo doesnt have to be a starter each and every game. Get back here soon Pods...we need ya!
August 27, 200520 yr QUOTE(The Dude @ Aug 27, 2005 -> 03:35 PM) I can't wait till Timo doesnt have to be a starter each and every game. Get back here soon Pods...we need ya! With Timo playing, I hardly noticed Pods was gone. Ozzie is so smart for playing Timo. Timo is batting .312 in the leadoff role, with seven stolen bases. Then the White Sox signed Jamie Navarro again. Never giving up a run the entire 2005 campaign and winning 27 games in only 5 starts, Navarro won the Cy Young, while played all three outfield positions at the same time, winning a gold glove in all three positions in addition to the batting title. Then I woke up. :sleep
August 27, 200520 yr QUOTE(Finkelstein @ Aug 26, 2005 -> 05:39 PM) Last I heard he was rehabbing down in Charlotte this weekend and returning on Monday. Hopefully all goes well this weekend. That's what I heard too
August 28, 200520 yr So who is going down when Podsednik comes up? Adkins or Anderson? I'm really hoping it will be Adkins, but something tells me Anderson will be sent down.
August 28, 200520 yr yeah it's kinda ironic that former big league teamates square off in the minors and Borchard tees off against Shingo. As for Podsednik, if he doesn't come back on Monday, I'd say he might as well wait another 2 days for the September 1st call ups.

August 28, 200520 yr QUOTE(Dam8610 @ Aug 28, 2005 -> 12:55 AM) You don't want him available for the playoffs?! He would be available for the playoffs because he is on the DL.
August 28, 200520 yr QUOTE(YASNY @ Aug 28, 2005 -> 02:29 AM) He would be available for the playoffs because he is on the DL. Oh. Thanks for the correction. Didn't know that.
