August 27, 200520 yr Well Anderson showed he can hit righties, so I wonder if Ozzie will still use Timo as a 4th OF against them, or whether Anderson does get more playing time. Great job by the majority of the offense and El Duque for a solid start, and then the pen for lockin it down.

August 27, 200520 yr We've got our 2 kickass rookies going for the stretch run. Jenks will make the playoff roster and more than likely we'll be seeing BA on there as well. In recent history rookies have come up huge for teams in September and in the playoffs, it doesn't hurt having a kickass rookie closer and what seems to be a pretty good OFer out there as well.

August 27, 200520 yr Big big win after Oz left Duque in maybe too long. a.) We still win and maybe like Hawk said the confidence Oz showed in Duke will pay off in playoffs/Series. b.) We hang in there and play well in extra inns and win on Iguchi's blast. Big hit by a guy not hitting all that well since the break. c.) Anderson! Wow. d.) Hermy closes it off nicely. We win on a night we again hit poorly most of the game. Big win.
