Question:  How does KW and Ozzie justify trading power for a leadoff hitter after the season when our offense was significantly worse?

Not just power.

We gave up 2 300 hitters who happened to have power.

Carlos hit .275 this year. He was pretty much Jermaine Dye with more RBIs in more chances.

Take this pitching staff and put it on any of the last 2 years offenses and we run mad into the playoffs not looking back.

PHEWWWWWWWWWW

Mercy.

In a world where contracts don't matter, if you take Pods off this team, but Carlos in the 3rd spot, and move Rowand to the leadoff spot, and you'd have yourself a significantly better offense.

TOR up 6-4

Don't forget some pretty good pitching rotations in that division.

i can't say enough good things about JC today

Alright let's win this thing.

Oh yah. Sure. Unfortuantely we don't live in that world.

BTW, if the Sox don't make the playoffs, no one will give a s*** what their record was this season. Fair or not, anything but a playoff season will now be just as bad as going 40-122.

JC doing HIS part. This next inning is critical for us to score w/ the heart of the lineup due up, and Nathan waiting in the Wings

Conteras pitched great.

Our offense blows goat balls.

I would have had to put myself in handcuffs if Pods just didn't jump for that ball, and it went over the fence by a foot. :P

Cmon. Someone run into one.

Take 2.

At least we know our 3-4 hitters will be swinging for the fences.
