Well, everyone has hit the ball hard cept for Rowand and Everett. Can't ask for more than that.

Just got back home from work to see Garcia look like he's about to do his typical run allowed after the Sox score. Pods continues to shine on defense!

Time to go back out :P

Pods looks horrible out there. Get Ozuna to play defense. At least Ozuna goes all out.

Pods had zero chance to hold him to a single.

Problem is they were all low liners or grounders on the infield. If they can get some air under those, we'd probably be up 6-0 right now. :P

It would have been fairly close, as Morneau is not very fast. jphat, all I could think of was feeling bad for you when I heard on the radio we were hitting the ball hard right at them.

At least we got a break on the bloop.

So if you throw it down the middle at the knees, it is a ball?

Its nice to see Freddy with a lead :) (not sure how he's doing, just got back from picking up my dinner)

If it's Mark Buehrle, it's a home run ball :P

and there's the 1 run.

And the boo's.

There's our 9 million dollar pitcher.

Lew Ford kills us.

Freddy been throwing ALOT of meat lately

Letting up 1 run isnt bad, its when he lets up 5/6 that it becomes bad.

DJ is not very pleased with Garcia.

But wouldn't it be nice to see him buckle down after we score a run, and let the Sox try to increase the lead?

Of course it would. You can't expect a pitcher to shut the opponent out each night though.

If he gives up 1-run every three innings I'll be happy I think.

Why does everyone insist he is making nine million this year?

When it is the Twins offense, I do.

What is it, like 7 or 8 this year? Since it's a 3/27 deal, it's better just to take the average. And no, I'm not complaining cause he's allowed one run in 3 innings. It's that he continually allows runs after we score.

Nice leadoff double for Pods!
