October 2, 200520 yr Reminded me of McGahee's knee from the Rose Bowl a couple years back. I didn't watch it live - because I couldn't - but it's one of those things that the instant you see it happen, you know it's bad. I do have a pic of the McGahee knee-snapping. Pretty gruesome.

October 6, 200520 yr As a matter of fact there is..... He had surgery and all went well. He should be discharged from the hospital Thursday or Friday. Recovery time is expected to be 6-12 months and he should be able to play again. Below is an article from today's Birmingham News. Surgeon: Prothro should play again

It was shown in slow motion on CBS, on ESPN Sportscenter and in full color on the front page of the next day's Birmingham News. It's not like it is not already out there.
