October 4, 200520 yr Anyone have anything more specific than chance of showers? Weather.com is vague.
October 4, 200520 yr The official prediction is for lots of thunder – followed by fireworks – in the bottom half of every inning today.
October 4, 200520 yr Author QUOTE(mreye @ Oct 4, 2005 -> 10:28 AM) The sun is shining right now. How's that? I know, it says showers will be moving in at...drumroll please......3 PM!!! Woo Hooo
October 4, 200520 yr According to weatherbug, there is a 30% chance of showers/t-storms this afternoon. We were getting that chance quite a bit during the summer and generally saw not a damned thing. Nothing much on the radar except a few cells in Wisconsin. I get a feeling if we get anything it will be heat induced storms not a cell moving across the midwest, but I guess we shall soon see.
October 4, 200520 yr FWIW, when I enter my ZIP (Roughly 30 miles south) there is no rain in the forecast. So, maybe it will stay north, or you may just get the edge of it.
October 4, 200520 yr QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Oct 4, 2005 -> 10:21 AM) http://www.weather.com/activities/other/ot...Link_undeclared looks like a 30% chance of a rain delay throughout this game But night games are more fun anyways
October 4, 200520 yr On the news after the Monday Night game last night, the weatherman said that the storm will probably move in towards the end or after the game is over. He didnt say anything about Wednesday though
October 4, 200520 yr Wednesday is 70% chance of rain and this weekend in Boston calls for lots of rain also!!
October 4, 200520 yr QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Oct 4, 2005 -> 10:30 AM) The official prediction is for lots of thunder – followed by fireworks – in the bottom half of every inning today. i love you, jim.

October 5, 200520 yr What I have heard from the weather people is chance of rain late meaning the game shoud be a go. It will be a fast game especially if Buerhle is up for tomorrow with his A game. Now you could be here in Montana where it is 32 degrees and rain mixed with snow all day. Expecting maybe a foot of snow by mid morning. The rain is headed East dear friends so hold on to your umbrellas.
