I watch when Prior pitches only, being a huge fan since I seen the kid pitch at USC. 9 runs through 4 innings with SCRUBS in the lineup such as Karros, Grudzelanek, Ramon Martinez.... Chisoxfn Posted May 13, 2003 Share Posted May 13, 2003 Thats what kills me Ugly. I could care less if the Cubs are winning; I have been watching the Cubs since I was a kid along with the Sox. The thing is, I never expected them to be amongst the top in the NL in runs scored and when you compare their offense to the Sox their is no way they should be doing better offensively. I understand a team overachieving, but usually those numbers even out and right now the Cubs are just impressing me at the plate. Maybe third base is a wash, only because Crede hasn't done much at all, and second base is about a wash, but every other position is all Scrubs, including pitching. I think I'm going to throw up. Yeah, I know, but look at who played (Karros, O'Leary, Grudzielanek) and who didn't (Sosa, Choi). Rusch had always pitched the Scrubbies well in the past also.
