i don't know about you guys, but during the games i'm a nervous wreck, and for no reason i have to do little things or the sox don't win. i've been wearing the same unwashed clothes (only during the games), sitting in the same spot and putting my shoes in the same place. yeah, i'm crazy, but i assume some of you have similar habits.

 

so, what are your crazy habits? or just tell me if i'm the only one....

I've worn contacts consistently for the last 3 years, but I wore glasses on game one and they won so I've worn them ever since...and I'm a little afraid to get a haircut.

My superstitions change every game. If I notice things were going better when my pepsi can was facing a certain direction, I make sure it's facing that direction the entire game. If things are going well and I've been in the same spot the entire game, I won't move even to use the facilities.

This might sound retarded, but I've eaten a whopper at some point during the day Tuesday, Wendesday and Friday. I think it's time to bust the Burger King coupons out.

I am not much of a facial hair guy, so I just look funny with this peach fuzz all over my face. Hell, I will just go as far as saying I do not look good at all with facial hair.

Same here, but I think I'm gonna shave before Tuesday and start fresh again for the ALCS, if i don't it'll look ridiculous, although it already does. I've also watched every playoff game at my friend's apartment at the same spot on the couch with my Sox jersey on.

I temporarily stopped shaving during last weekend the sox were playing the twins out of laziness. Now I have a full beard because I'm afraid of shaving it and having the sox fall back down to earth.

I have a really wierd one. I want to video tape every White Sox playoff game BUT every Bears game I have taped, they land up losing it ..... so I have decided not to tape anymore.....it sure has helped in this 1st series but it is so focking difficult when you see them perform so well and you cannot save it for posterity

Right before each of the three games I have jammed "Thunderstruck" as loud as it goes on my stereo. Also, I always wear my lucky Beuhrle jersey.

Yesterday I was wearing a retro sox winter Knit hat with those fuzzy balls on top. I was so nervous during the game that I ripped it off. It will now be in my pockey for the rest of the playoffs. I will call it my lucky fuzzy ball.

All my superstitions went out the window with this series. Thanks Sox!!

A friend of mine gave me a really nice Sox cap for my B Day 2 years ago. I had only worn it like twice because I didn't wanna get it all sweaty and dirty. For some odd reason, I wore it to game 1, which of course ended in a 14-2 rout. I wore it again to the bar for game 2, result? win. I wore it again last night.

I just have a simple one where I turn my Sox Pride bracelet one way for home games(where I can read the writing) and the other way for away games. This has to be done the day before the game and not they day of the game.

I play "Let's Go Go Go White Sox" every day at least twice.

First it has been quite a while since I last shaved.

 

Second, AC/DC "The Razor's Edge" with "Thunderstruck" has been on constant repeat in my Jeep. It will not come out til the end of October.

If the whitesox are playing well and you are sitting in a specific place or position, you must stay like that. All people that are jinxes must leave (sorry dad) and I have a playoff shag goin on.

I know. I have been playing it in my dorm room, and people look in to see what's going on. Especially when I am singing along.

I have many. I wore the same clothes (washed of course!!) for each game of this series.

heh.. same, although since I go to a Catholic school ( :(), they'll make me sooner or later.

If we dont score/give up a run i change everything from positions to seating to whatever.

 

In the fifth of game 2 we started scoring runs while i was in the shower. After i got out someone (Crede I think) went down 0-2. I walked out of the room, turned the radio up real loud and stood in the shower.

 

The Red Sox then fell apart.
