October 9, 200520 yr Ditka was on NFL Sunday Countdown with wearing a Sox Jersey. He had #89 Ditka on the back of it. COACH!
October 9, 200520 yr QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 03:46 PM) I thought he was a Cubs fan. Am I wrong? He's sung the 7th inning stretch a few times at wrigley, he's a bandwagoner.
October 9, 200520 yr Author QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 04:47 PM) He's sung the 7th inning stretch a few times at wrigley, he's a bandwagoner. Still you can't be beat with Da Coach on your side.
October 9, 200520 yr QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 04:47 PM) He's sung the 7th inning stretch a few times at wrigley, he's a bandwagoner. Yeah I've heard about him at Wrigley so I was just assuming he was.
October 9, 200520 yr Author QUOTE(YASNY @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 04:50 PM) Ditka = Chicago. He gets a pass, imho. DITKA=GOD
October 9, 200520 yr QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 04:47 PM) Still you can't be beat with Da Coach on your side. Sure worked for the Saints.
October 9, 200520 yr Author QUOTE(Heads22 @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 04:51 PM) Sure worked for the Saints. worked for the Bears.
October 9, 200520 yr QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 04:51 PM) worked for the Bears. So did Dick Butkus, but I fail to see any relevance it has to the Sox.
October 10, 200520 yr QUOTE(YASNY @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 05:50 PM) Ditka = Chicago. He gets a pass, imho. I agree. He is just the Chicago blue-collar kind of guy. I'll take him on our side.
October 10, 200520 yr the better question is, did white sox josh ever even see ditka coach a game with the bears?
October 10, 200520 yr I wonder if he's more a sox fan than Cub fan. I actually can picture him being one of the rare few who actually like both. I can't see him ever being called a bandwagon guy. He is DITKA!
October 10, 200520 yr QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 03:46 PM) I thought he was a Cubs fan. Am I wrong? Blasphemer! Da Coach is, well, Da Coach! Coach Ditka will "will" us a series win!
October 10, 200520 yr QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 04:50 PM) DITKA=GOD <{POST_SNAPBACK}> DITKA=SELLOUT How much longer until he starts doing tampon commercials?
October 10, 200520 yr I always thought the Bears won a Superbowl in spite of Ditka's coaching, not because of it. His stay in New Orleans again proved he is a highly overrated coach. Additionally, his politcal diatribes reveal that he is not the smartest guy either. A likable football guy, yes. God, ... hell no.
October 10, 200520 yr QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 03:35 AM) I always thought the Bears won a Superbowl in spite of Ditka's coaching, not because of it. His stay in New Orleans again proved he is a highly overrated coach. Additionally, his politcal diatribes reveal that he is not the smartest guy either. A likable football guy, yes. God, ... hell no. Exactly Dikta wasnt even a good coach.... but yet gets treated like he is a saint around here.... If we are going to parade around celebrating guys it should be Payton and Halas.
October 10, 200520 yr QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 08:43 PM) Exactly Dikta wasnt even a good coach.... but yet gets treated like he is a saint around here.... If we are going to parade around celebrating guys it should be Payton and Halas. Parade around dead guys ?? Ewwww !!!
