I went last night, and I just want to say that I have never been to a professional sporting even that was close to as incredible as that was last night. That was the highlight of my fandom. Wow.

anything remotely close to the zone is a strike tonight.

They could always adjust.... and you know, swing the f***ing bat at the strikes that are thrown.

anything remotely close to the zone is a strike tonight.

Haha. Are you missing our guys swinging at crap and taking strike 3 right down the plate?

I have seen this before.  2000 ALDS.

yep it looks oh so familiar. but at least we can't get swept in 3 games this time.

what kind of umping is that? WHat kind of umpire flashes a strike out like that?

i said it earlier and i'll say it again. this jagoff loves his tv time. he's gonna draw as much attention to himself as he can.

f***ing christ.

this game is unreal.

they need to start being agressive with the bat. they arent gonna get anywhere being conservative. being conservative is for when you have a 1-2 run lead and maybe a 1 game lead. not when you are tied in a big game.

Watch Cora's decision be the deciding factor in the game.

I'm telling you - THAT f***ing Rowand play is the whole damn series.  I yelled f*** so loud the whole damn neighborhood heard me when that happened.

Son of a b**** I know that play was it.

We play SO much different when up 2-0 as compared to the 1-0 at the time.  And we WOULD have scored that second run.

Yeah, when Rowand got thrown out i just had a feeling that was our last best chance at a run...

Our pitching has been absolotoly amazing past 2 nites, its going to let up sometime and when it does, its not going to be pretty.

the offense needs to become major league, and fast.

the pitchign doesnt deserve this.

yes, thats true. But this game is far from over. Stop acting as if the Sox are done.

If our offense doesn't pick up, it will be a sweep in 4 games.

Yah. Lets just ignore their results over the year.

I guess you're going to tell me that their coaches and manager expected both of them to perform up to their regular season levels under the circumstances I mentioned?

Now the Sox are taking it out on the umpire. Brilliant.

Anderson grounds out to iguchi one out.

Anderson helps out, swinging at the first pitch. I like it.

QUOTE(GreatScott82 @ Oct 12, 2005 -> 08:10 PM)
Its simple: WE CANT HIT SHIELDS

Timo can. :)

i'm done with this game tonight. i just wanna put my fist through my tv screen. anyone wanna play BF2?

haha.. are you missing everything else?

Yep, I must have missed Dye missing 3 good pitches to hit, Konerko striking out on a ball in the dirt, and Everett swinging at a pitch that almost hit him in the knees.

Look, it takes one at bat and a deep ball to get us back on track. But it needs to happen QUICK to get our confidence back.

That has basically been the summary of the whole season.

My point is both teams have incredible pitching. Both teams have given up the EXACT amount of earned runs. I wonder if Angels fans are s***ting their pants like ours are.

HE GAWN!
