If we score then Jon gets the 9th.  If we dont then I think Jenks is gonna get it.

Ozzie should go to the bullpen regardless. All those guys could use some work.

A single?  Jesus.

He had no chance for anything but a single.

Take one for the team!

He should have.

Time for the Rally Crede!!!!

The Rally Crede forgot his bat speed tonight. He's taking good swings, just a little late.

Let Jenks get it. He hasn't pitched since last friday :o

Completely agree, they've thrown a whole 2/3's of an inning this series.

farmio sez jenks is warmin

but he'd let Jonny start the ninth

I know. It's just funny that a ball that is crushed like that is only a single.

Lou is useless in the booth

If Jenks comes in, he's going to have his work cut out for him with Figgins being a pesty first batter.

When was the last ALCS when two starting pitchers went back to back CG's?

Whoa there slugger. Swinging for the fences does nothing if you miss the ball.

they showed jonny in the dugout and he ain't getting congratulated

he's startin the ninth, imo

If he starts the inning, he should be given one batter to reach base.

No one in the bullpen has had much work which usually means you're winning which is good. But not pitching for a while usually means control problems when they come in. Eventually, they are going to be needed. Its a catch 22 situation.

Johnson and Schilling in 2001 for the NL?

Another 3-1 count to Pods.

I'd go with Cotts.

I'm worried about what type of control Jenks will have in the 9th if he comes in.

Nice single Scotty :D

Yep. We need Garland's defense in there for Figgins at least. He could lay down a bunt easily on Jenks.

cmon gooch

double and clear the bases

I think we know how much Ozzie hates to use Cotts in late inning situations though.

Jenks should start the inning. Period. Save JG for game 7 if needed
