LOL.  It's kinda funny now.  The Hoosiers have quit.  It's kinda sad.

 

I didn't see any quit in IU today. I saw them get beat by a better team. I saw them shoot horribly. I saw them take suspect shots, I believe out of frustration due to good defense by Illinois. I saw them experience their patented droughts and look like crap in the process. But I never saw them quit.

 

As an IU fan, I think today was somewhat indicitave of how they have played for Mike Davis over the past few years. At times good, other times looking confused. I am at least happy they didn't lay down and lose by 30 because that could have happened easily.

I know most of you guys on here hate Duke, but I really enjoy watching Redick play. He is much more than a jumpshooter as he was earlier in his career. The guy flat out knows how to score. He and Adam Morrison are fun to watch.

Away - Purdue

 

Gotta beat Penn State and Purdue for a shot. Then they'd need to win one of the other two. I think the home game against Michigan State is the best chance.

 

16-11 with 8-8 in the Big 10 gets them in as a #10 or #11 IMO.

 

It's going to be tough though. They need to wallop Penn State and get some momentum going.

 

Note to Davis: Quit starting both Calloway and Monroe.

Never had a shot today. Yuck. Illinois' defense and our lack of execution on offense was the main difference in the game. It was known coming in, that we weren't going to play defense.

Redick and Morrison are both great great players, I wish I could enjoy watching them. It's just they both SEEM like such assholes as people, and play for Duke and Duke West, 2 teams I can't stand.

I also hate how he b****es a lot (when duke gets all the calls) and i hate some of his antics after making threes, etc. I was in Atlanta when they beat us 2 years ago, and he did his headbob all the way down the court after making a back-breaking three.

 

So when he goes 2-90 from three and they lose to MSU, i enjoy it.

If randle can get his jump shot down, he's going to be a star.

Agreed on part 2, Randle as an upperclassmen the next 2 years should be great to watch. And the only difference today with our big men was we actually passed them the ball. Packer was critical of Dee all game for not being assertive enough shooting the ball, but i'd be more than happy to see Dee taking much less shots and instead feeding it inside, that's what we SHOULD be doing on offense.

Yeah i don't like either of them. You're right though, Morrison gets into more actual bulls*** with the other team.

Redick just nailed a three to pass Johnny Dawkins as Duke's all-time leading scorer.

Pretty solid game all around. Big game by Augie, nice games by Randle and Carter. Did we have enough highlight dunks for everyone? Randle over Marco = pwn3d. Wow.

What has any Duke assistant coach done with a head coaching position to make you think Dawkins would do a good job?

 

Amaker has done nothing at all. Quin Snyder has been a joke and Mike Brey has done very little of worth at Notre Dame.

I know every man is different, but the record of the other former Duke Assistant Coaches does make me a little leery of Dawkins.

 

He is one of the guys I first thought about, but everyone thought the others were going to be stars as well.

If anyone can find pictures of Shannon Brown owning Michigan not one, not two, but three times yesterday, I'd appreciate it.

Excellent win. Pretty much controlled the whole game. Crowd was pretty damn good today. Brian Randle brought the house down, that was completely ridiculous.

Well, first of all, I find both Morrison and Reddick to be punks, though they are both great scorers.

 

On the Illinois game, it was fantastic to see the guards get the ball inside and see the big men really assert themselves. Warren Carter still needs to improve defensively, but he is excellent with the ball offensively, especially against the zone, he really flashes to the middle quite well.

 

On Randle, if he is not defensive player of the year in the big 10, I will be very surprised. And as SnB mentioned, Randle is a consistent jumpshot away from being a lottery pick.

 

Good luck to Indiana the rest of the way, I hope they get the wins necessary to get into the tournament and increase the stature of the Big 10.
