IPFW is going to form a "basketball alliance" called the United Basketball Conference with five other schools. It's not necessarily a conference, but this is a good step forward for them. They needed some stability added to their schedule, while they try to find a Division I Conference.

All the teams in this "alliance" are in the same situation, being new to Division I.

UNC goes down again. Just too many dumbasses on the squad. Very, very low basketball IQ for guys like David Noel, Reyshawn Terry, Byron Sanders, Quentin Thomas, and Danny Green. UNC can't find a PG, can't find an outside shooter, and can't find any help for Tyler Hansbrough. Tough season.

How bout my Hoos. We played a mediocre game and still won!!! But seriously. It will be much tougher to say that next year with the class you guys are bringing in. We'll get what we can take!! Thank you Depaul for Dave Leitao!

I've been keeping an eye on the virginia scores from a distance...losses to fordham and western kentucky come to mind...

With what you're paying him, he better pan out.

And if he prospers, UConn might be sending you a thank you too when Calhoun retires. :P

They played very well, you guys should cause some havoc in the ACC, especially with a very good PG, in a PG barren league this year. Virginia has a huge amount of potential as a university to become an elite basketball school, and maybe Leitao might be the guy to get you there.

IU-Purdue tip off here at 2:30.

This is going to be kind of weird, because now the rivalry has officialy lost two of its biggest proponents: Bob Knight and Gene Keady.

IU shouldn't have a problem with this game, but records usually go out the door against the rival. These games are always close.

It'd be huge for IU to take care of this, because it could move us into a tie with Wiscy at the top of the Big Ten.

Ben Allen's going to be starting for the second straight game, with the regulars; hopefully he can stay out of foul trouble today and light it up.

A ton of good games on today, I'm probably not even going to leave my room.

Let's hope that IU gets ahead early and wins this one easily. Marco Killingsworth didn't practice Thursday due to the back spasms that were giving him trouble against Illinois and Roderick Wilmont has not practiced the past two days due to the ankle he hurt in the Illini game.

Hope neither of these linger............

I saw those quotes. We need a blowout today for that reason. Marco and Rod need minimal time today, to get themselves better. We need them right for the big game on Tuesday.

Yay, another big swingish game for ISU, hosting Texas A&M. Win this one and we are in a lot better shape, than well, if we didn't.

Ohhh Digger, you and your tielighters.

Quentin Thomas, and Danny Green

Those two are the biggest dumbasses on the court IMO. And speaking of an outside shooter, maybe they could try and screen for Fraser and have him shoot it, much like Duke did/does with Redick.

Brunner nails a j to bring Iowa within 9 at the half.

Wisconsin down 16 to North Dakota state with under 2 mins left in the first half.

EDIT: At home might I add.

2 mins into the 2nd half and MSU ups their lead to 17.
