I have two questions for you guys...

Featured Replies

1) Has/Did anyone record those games on dvd or video? And if you did I would much like to get a copy of each, I will pay for everything + some extra dough..and

2) Is there anyway to get copies of the Chicago Tribune from out of South Carolina, without having a subscription to the newspaper? I am guessing some newstand carries the Chicago Tribune around here but I'm not sure if there is a way to order just one copy from the Tribune itself..??

Thanks for the help guys..ohh yea and :gosox1:

I know you can buy the games on MLB.TV to download to your computer. I don't know about the newspaper thing, sorry.

I recorded a few of the games, but stopped recording some of them.

I did get the final inning though for last nights game :D

you should be able to call or email the tribune for a copy of the paper. i don't know if it works in Chicago but it has worked for other papers for me in the past.

Regarding question No. 2, the Chicago Tribune store can be reached at 312-222-3080. Copies are $10 apiece and delivery is 2-4 weeks. I did not copy down the address, sorry.

$10... are you serious..?

What do you want? The entire paper? Just the sports section..?

I'll spend that if we win 4 more.

That's f***ing highway robbery. $10 for a trib. GMAFB.

s***, I will send some copies to people, 10 bucks is a f***in rip off.

Download the games from mlb.com

Check with your local mega-book store. The Barnes and Noble here carries the Tribune and the Sun-Times as well as most out of market newspapers.

Actually it really isn't. Shipping is going to run $3 - $5 and the newspaper itself must be $2 by now. $5 to package, collect the money, etc. sounds about right.

Sucks when you're out of town.

I know the Daily Herald is putting together all of the sports sections (front pages at least) and packaging them together...

I don't have the URL available for where to get that deal though. I read it at lunch. -- I don't subscribe to any papers anymore.
