It is finally here. The World Series. It still isn't sinking in that we are in the WORLD SERIES. :D

I know I was waiting to wake up and be back in my old apartment, proving that this season was just a dream.

:gosox3:

It has still no hit me!!!!! :huh :gosoxretro:

You know how many times i asked myself: "Are we really in the world series!?" If this is a dream don't wake me up! NEVER! To make things sweeter its vs a team that has arguably the best pitcher of all time in Roger Clemens. Lets get it started!!! I LIVE FOR THIS!!

:gosox1:

A lot of you have probably waited a lot longer than I for this moment to come, but I'm sure it doesn't make it any more special to any of us. We're finally here, we've done the job so far, we can see the finish line, but there's 1 more obstacle in the way. So let's get it done!!!! :gosox3: :headbang

I dont think it will hit me until the game starts.

This is the pinnacle of us getting excited for every opening day, watching every game during those summer nights.

this is as good as our sporting lives are going to get.

"lets get it started"

I'm thinking that too....

I want to thank Minnesota's GM Terry Ryan and Oakland's GM Billy Beane. They taught Kenny Williams that it takes pitching, pitching, pitching, defense, speed and pitching to win. Kenny Williams stole a paige from their book and now we are 4 wins away from being the World Champions!!!!!!

I'm really excited. It's been hard to wait a week for this.

OOOO!! i"M so excited!!!!!!!!!!! bUt it still really hasn't hit me yet either..I'm sure as soon as those introductions start...I'll like cry!! If Fox does not show them I swear to god i'm going to sue them..That's what i wait for!!

J. Hood today compared the wait to the lull before the Super Bowl.

I can't disagree.

I have the VCR set for Comcast's pregame, then Fox's pregame and the game itself.

I have to TRY to avoid any mention of the game while I'm out, and THAT's gonna be damn tough to do.

It's been harder to wait 24.6 years for this...Or for some of our older folks, something like 46 years.

are you in or out?

 I was just a very, very frusterated die hard Sox fan who was sick of heartbreak.

Very, very proud of the fact that I stayed concerned, disappointed, worried, but always in.
