The Astros have come through in every big situation tonight, and the Sox have failed. We have one inning against Qualls here, and then Lidge for 2 innings.

What an awful job by AJ. If you're up there swinging at the first pitch you have to make it count. Terrible terrible job with only one inning before Lidge.

 

By the way, maybe it only seems this way... but do all of Carl's hits come with the bases empty?

We've had plenty of chances to put up about 5 runs tonight. Some rather poor ABs by our veterans.

He's a f***ing agressive hitter. He got a solid pitch to hit and just didn't hit it. It f***ing happens against good f***ing pitching.

 

You weren't saying it was a bad idea when he crushed the ball on the first pitch of his AB in ths second which setup our first two runs.
