December 11, 200520 yr QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Dec 11, 2005 -> 08:07 PM) Actually, this is the worst time to take out Orton. No sense throwing Rex Glassjaw in there in the snow. He wont accomplish anything except to slip and hurt his vagina again. lol that is funy

December 11, 200520 yr I think if you throw Grossman in there right now you are setting him up for failure. Snow, down 18...not a good recipe. Maybe just start him next week
December 11, 200520 yr Author They should have been going to Jones a lot earlier. Letting Orton throw the ball that many times is horrible play calling.
December 11, 200520 yr Absolutely no reason to bring in Rex today. As others have mentioned, this is a no-win situation. His ass better be starting next week, as Orton is a disgrace at the position.
December 11, 200520 yr QUOTE(illinilaw08 @ Dec 11, 2005 -> 08:16 PM) Get well soon Mike Brown Get your head out of your ass Brian Urlacher.
December 11, 200520 yr Author AN OFFENSIVE TOUCHDOWN?!?!?! ARE YOU s***TING ME?!?!?!?! WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL SEASON LONG?!?!?!? 21-9 Missed XP BLAH!!
December 11, 200520 yr What a great catch by Berrian. Bears down 12 now after Gould misses the extra point.
December 11, 200520 yr I have this feeling like that TD drive might have been a bad thing. My thinking is that Lovie wanted to cut/bench Bobby Wade right before the first game against Detroit. However, Wade got a punt return for a TD that game and Lovie has stuck with him since. I wonder if this drive might buy Orton another start.

December 11, 200520 yr Who had a worse game? Urlacher or Orton? Jones or Orton? Keep grindin' that axe though. Gotta keep it sharp.
December 11, 200520 yr Author QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Dec 11, 2005 -> 02:31 PM) Who had a worse game? Urlacher or Orton? Jones or Orton? Keep grindin' that axe though. Gotta keep it sharp. Jones would have a better game if they'd have given him the ball instead of having Orton overthrow on 7 yard patterns the whole 1st half. BTW. Why has Adrian Peterson not gotten any carries? Bears totally abandoned the running game and it cost em. Edited December 11, 200520 yr by NUKE_CLEVELAND
December 11, 200520 yr Author Anyone want to take bets on whether that was the last Bears offensive touchdown of the season?
December 11, 200520 yr Hopefully that last pass on the slant will tip the scales toward Rex Grossman.
December 11, 200520 yr Author QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ Dec 11, 2005 -> 02:53 PM) Hopefully that last pass on the slant will tip the scales toward Rex Grossman. It wont. Those 2 deep throws Orton actually completed on the TD drive cemented Orton's place as starter for the remainder of the season. Lovie Smith is to Kyle Orton like Ozzie Guillen is to Timo Perez.
December 11, 200520 yr You could see this coming from a mile away. As soon as the d had an off game, we were gonna be in deep trouble. This is kinda good in a way. I really think Grossman will start next week. The Vikings are right on our f***in ass now. We have very little margin for error now if we want to win the division.
December 11, 200520 yr Last three weeks: Pittsburgh rushing yards: 83 yrds/game Today: 179 and counting yards. Damn joo Kyle Orton. Joo need to stop the run!

December 11, 200520 yr Author QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Dec 11, 2005 -> 02:57 PM) Last three weeks: Pittsburgh rushing yards: 83 yrds/game Today: 179 and counting yards. Damn joo Kyle Orton. Joo need to stop the run! I've been saying this all throughout the winning streak. The defense was going to have an off day and the question would be could the offense step up. Well, Kyle Orton answered that one for us today. Because we all know 21 points given up by the defense is SOOOOOOO insurmountable.
