Who's pitching in this game?

Who's pitching in this game?

Clayton Richard, our 8th round pick from last year. He's a big lefty who also played QB at the University of Michigan. Freddy was scratched but he's not hurt or anything. It might rain and they don't want him pitching in those conditions.

Dave Bush is pitching for the Brewers. They acquired him from the Blue Jays in the Lyle Overbay trade this offseason.

Hopefully we can see Boone Logan go today against some better hitters. Have a back to back day and see how he rebounds.

Let's try to make 2 wins in a row!

Yep, it would be nice to see him pitch again today. He made short work of those three Flubs yesterday and I don't think he threw very many pitches.

Who is this Boone Logan guy and where did he come from?

go sox

Go Sox I would have liked to see Freddy pitch today but I'm more interested to see Boone Logan pitch again today and see how he does on back to back days.

Boone Logan is a 21 year old, 6'5 left-hander who spent time at rookie and Class A ball last year. He had a dominant "b" game performance in which he struck out Mackowiak and Thome. Since then, he's been the talk of spring. He's gone, I believe, close to 6 innings without giving up a run.

I would also like to see freddy pitch, but i bet he will tommorow.

Right now, it looks like that will compete with "How exactly does one Boone a Logan" and "Why the Hell is Hermanson still pitching" as the most commonly asked questions for the Sox this year.

Chris Widge batting fifth. LOL. Nice.

It looks like its Ben Hendrickson starting the game off on the mound for the Brewers, not Dave Bush.

Gload grounds out to second to start off the game.

Freddy pitched today, but back at camp with the minor leaguers so he didn't have to come pitch in the rain.

That's a nice spring training stadium the Brewers have.

Uribe with a single. He's having a fine spring.

Royals leading the AL in hitting by .011 this spring at .320 showing just how little spring training stats mean.

Paulie with a double. He looks good. 2nd and 3rd 1 out.

Konerko with a double. Runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out.

Paulie with a nice double, moving Uribe to third (singled past the SS the AB before).

Nice piece of hitting by Dye. 2-0 Sox.

nice. JD goes the other way.
