I'm gonna go with Uribe.

Gooch. He's probably the second fastest guy of all the regulars and will get many more chances to steal this year. That is assuming Uribe holds it down in the 2-hole.

Who cares?

And you spelled Mackowiak wrong again :P

Uribe may finish 2nd in CS's - I don't think there's a chance in hell he has the second most steals. He's a horrible baserunner.

I like the Goochi pick too, but I would not rule out Anderson or even Ozuna.

iguchi or uribe

hmm

guch

Iguchi. If Uribe tries to steal, he will finish the season with more caught stealing's than stolen bases.

gotta agree with the majority and say Gooch. I think he is a better/smarter (not faster) baserunner than El ScoPo.

Owens after an in season call up.

Mack or Cintron.

I didn't think I would be out on a limb with this, but I am going to say Pablo Ozuna

Mack or Cintron.

Why do you think Cintron? He has 6 SB in his career.

Hunch. By the time he replaces Gooch at 2B, im sure he may hit higher in the order as well. Ozuna is a pretty good guess too.

You really have some Cintron man-love. ;) If Cintron returns to his 2003 form, I probably wouldn't mind that.

I like his 2006 form so far, in the WBC and ST he looks damn good to me.

Remember, before we signed Gooch last year, there was talk of Cintron. I still think ozzie may have that frame of mind.

I think one guy who isn't getting enough love is B.A. Good speed, combined with a couple of excellent stolen-base coaches in Rock and Pods.

Jery Owens will be FIRST on the team in steals. Book it!
