allright allright... so it only took 7 pitches =P

Comes back with a walk.

Thanks for playing.

this guy rules.... come on coop!

Wow, nice control.

He sounds like a bad version of Alan Embree.

Yes I said a bad version :P

Yep....this guy is terrible. We're better off with him starting off in the minors. He's a liability to be in the majors when we break camp.

Edited by fathom

Boo this is boring. IF you are gonna blow ass and walk people at least do it Rick Vaughn style.

i think that if cooper is able to get him going, then it will be his biggest turn around/achivement.

this guy is just plain insane!!!!!!

That pitch just went thru my office window downtown

This dude is pathetic. What a waste of a good fastball.

So those runs don't count, right?

On a positive note that was the fastest inning I have ever seen where 5 runs were allowed.

Ryan Sweeney in to play LF for Rob Mackowiak.

Johnson K's. 1 out

Barfield doubles to the RF corner.

Greene flies out to Dye in RF. Barfield tags to 3B. 2 outs.

Pitching change: Matt Thornton relieves Jon Garland.

Giles grounds to Uribe. Uribe with an error. Barfield scores. Giles safe at 1B. 6-5 Padres.

Piazza singles to RF. Giles to 3B.

Leone hits a MONSTER 3-run homer to LF. 9-5 Padres.

Mirabelli walks.

Sledge walks. Mirabelli to 2B.

Gonzalez lines a single down the LF line. Mirabelli scores. 10-5 Padres.

Johnson grounds out to Crede.

Inning over, 10-5 Padres.

What is the line for an inning like that for Thornton? Would any of those be earned runs?

Thorton makes me miss Scott Schoenweis..... :bang
