Maybe we might get to see Anderson up later with no pressure. Ya know, after we are up 17-0.

There have been games when we jump out to a big lead early this year and end up blowing it. This game isn't in the bag quite yet.

Mack is due

very due.

The best pitch Towers threw all inning.

How many times have Mack and Anderson went down looking with runners on. Oh well, great start to the game. Now lets hold em Frederico.

For Crede its a matter of staying focused.  In years past he'd give away ab's, but in the crunch he's so much more focused and it pays.  He's doing that consistently this year.

Crede just seems to turn into a base hit machine when he's on.

No the Sox will need a lot more than 3 to win today.

Hopefully having the lead doesn't put Freddy to sleep.

Well, we all know Freddy always struggles in the beginning.. and he did that already with the two walks. Now, with a 3 run buffer, he should get it going. I just want to see his fastball hit 95 today. Come on Freddy!

Big half inning here for Freddy. Can't let them get any mo going after us putting up a 3 spot.

Alright, 2 down. Lets go baby!

Detriot announcers last week , called him "the most dangerous Sox hitter with the game on the line"!

Ouch.

I think this game is done for the day. It's supposed to get really, really nasty.

Ouch, poor Paulie. Hope hes alright.

Great job Freddy

His fastballs can hit 40 all game if it gets the job done.

Gooch looking like a wizard on the diamond.

Sunny Forecast

According to ace groundskeeper Roger Bossard, the rain scheduled to pummel Chicago has missed us (although there is a chance around 3 pm for some drops).  This is good news for today's starter, Freddy Garcia, who is 40-14 in day games since 1999.  Only Pedro Martinez (39-10, .796) has a better winning percentage and only Randy Johnson can match Freddy's 40 victories.

The weather man.

Quick inning for Freddy.

scattered thunderstorms later on.

Malik Allen...thank you for that jumper (I know its a Sox thread, but damn it I'm also watching the Bulls game.

Lol, great play at third by Glaus :P

Thank you Glausy.

From what I've seen of Alex he has a long swing, it's amazing that he can be effective as a bench player with that swing. Very impressive.

Cintron still has the horseshoe firmly up his butt on that pop up.
