May 8, 200619 yr Why would any of the starters miss a turn in the rotation so Haeger could make a start? Sounds pretty "out there" to me.

Maybe it's because it makes absolutely NO sense what so ever, McCarthy is the 6th starter, Jose Contreras is slated to pitch Wednesday and they're playing a half way decent team. Why throw away a game by pitching a rookie knuckleballer?
