Well I think this game jsut showed our weakest positions on the team.

 

1) Uribe(no bat and although still good defense, not what you can expect from him.)

 

2) Bullpen ... We mind aswell get lopez up here ASAP

Once again our bullpen s***s the bed.

 

I also like the umps' calls today too. Sox throw pitches close and don't get em, scrubs throw em at the same place and get them called strike. Not blaming the ump though, they had that s*** coming to them giving them extra outs.

You couldn't be more wrong. Punch and Judy Jerry Hairston Jr. is the last guy they'd hit if they were tyring to send a message. Ozzie will be the first one to say the beat themselves, assuming they lose this game. He doesn't play those types of games.

 

The Sox have had issues with Hairston twice in the past (Loaiza and Colon). I remember hearing from someone associated with the team that they thought he was a whiner. I agree that the Iguchi play wasn't intentional, but that sure looked to be right at him. Also...Ozzie wasn't retaliating for yesterday....that was for today.

I would like to start seeing a lttle more of Citron at SS. When Uribe isn't palying defense, he has no value.

Alex that about sums it up. The play was simple, it should've been made. They made a couple of other errors today and were able to overcome it, but when you keep giving teams extra outs they will inevitably take advantage, sooner or later.
