May 30, 200619 yr Only 8 of his 20 have been solos. That's pretty impressive. Iguchi and Pods (for the most part) are getting on base in front of him.
May 30, 200619 yr Doesn't deserve a new thread but Paulie hit his 225th career homerun today. We have a basher in Thome who already has 450 and another one who needs 225 more. I love our 3-4..

Also interesting to note for Pauly, he has passed Carlton Fisk for 3rd on the all time Sox HR list and Maggs for 9th on the Sox all time RBI list in the last week.

May 30, 200619 yr QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ May 29, 2006 -> 08:57 PM) I say there is a good chance he moves up to at least 25th this season. So you think he'll hit atleast 15 more? Wow, watch your balance, wouldn't want to see you fall off that limb.
May 30, 200619 yr QUOTE(Kalapse @ May 29, 2006 -> 09:01 PM) So you think he'll hit atleast 15 more? Wow, watch your balance, wouldn't want to see you fall off that limb. I saw 475 and thought it was 25. My mistake. So, to clear that up, I see him moving up to 22nd this season.
May 30, 200619 yr QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 29, 2006 -> 07:10 PM) Also interesting to note for Pauly, he has passed Carlton Fisk for 3rd on the all time Sox HR list and Maggs for 9th on the Sox all time RBI list in the last week. I believe I heard Hawk or DJ say that Paulie was within 3 of Baines for #2 on the list.
May 30, 200619 yr QUOTE(YASNY @ May 30, 2006 -> 04:22 AM) I believe I heard Hawk or DJ say that Paulie was within 3 of Baines for #2 on the list. Yep, he is. He has 218 HR on the White Sox, Baines had 221.
May 30, 200619 yr Trade was definitely a huge boost for this team right now, from the impact JT's made. But Philly fans shouldn't be mad at Gillick at all. Ryan Howard has picked up right where he left off last season, and Gio Gonzalez is already proving someone's prediction this season that he'll be more than a 5th starter in the future.
May 30, 200619 yr Howard has 13 freaking home runs this month and Gio is going to be real good, not sure why ANY Philly fans would be mad at that trade. 13 home runs in 1 month=*mind boggles*
