Not entirely, but with a pitch count well over 100, the bullpen probably should've started this inning. I don't know if it's just a complete lack of confidence in the pen or trying to get Buehrle the win again, it just didn't work out.

Pretty dumb to have Mark out there with that pitch count. Now we have an inherited runner with no outs. I thought it was about the team and not individual statistics?

You're better off leaving Buehrle in to see if the Indians were bunting. Let him throw one to first, and see if the Indians show their hand. I'll take my chances with Buehrle fielding a bunt over Jenks.

 

I take my chance with them trying to bunt 99 mph over trying to hit a 2 run dong off of someone with over 110 pitches.
