June 11, 200619 yr Congrats to that other football team in Chicago. Took out Orlando in the arenabowl. Hell of a job for a team that was 7-9 in the reg season.... DITKA YES!!!
June 11, 200619 yr Anyone every been to one of their games? Are they entertaining? Also where do they play?
June 11, 200619 yr I watched this game and I must admit that the Arena Bowl is fun to watch. Congrats to Ditka and the Rush.
June 11, 200619 yr Will the Rush have a parade through Michael Barrett and the Cub's streets too? Edited June 11, 200619 yr by Greg The Bull Luzinski
June 11, 200619 yr QUOTE(THEWOOD @ Jun 11, 2006 -> 05:10 PM) Anyone every been to one of their games? Are they entertaining? Also where do they play? It's worth checking out at least once. I went early this year and enjoyed it, but haven't been back since. They play at Allstate.
June 11, 200619 yr Congrats to the Rush, but I hear even one person say "daaaaa, Da Coach should come back to the Bears as coach (and/or) owner and bring a Super Bowl back to Chicago", i'm going to shoot myself in the face. Ditka needs to go the f*** away, it's been TWENTY YEARS since the Bears won anything. I'm in college, almost old enough to legally drink, and wasn't even born yet when the Bears won that Super Bowl. Move on. /mini-rant.

June 12, 200619 yr QUOTE(mr_genius @ Jun 11, 2006 -> 08:46 PM) na, ditka is the best you don't know what you're talking about If he was more than a mediocre coach, the 80's Bears win 3 Super Bowls, but that's a different argument.
June 12, 200619 yr This is an outrage that the NBA Finals highlights and analysis is being aired before Arena Bowl highlights on Sportscenter.
June 12, 200619 yr QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 12, 2006 -> 01:56 AM) If he was more than a mediocre coach, the 80's Bears win 3 Super Bowls, but that's a different argument. Because even though your not old enough to drink now you know everything about the NFL in the 80's.... anyways I watched the 1st quarter and I cant find it entertaining..... but I have trouble finding college football entertaining too I kind of just like seeing the best players go at it(NFL). I can watch college basketball but thats probably thanks to it being a guard dominated league and the refs dont blow their whistles non-stop.
June 12, 200619 yr I live in Orlando. I watched the end of the game. I wanted the Preds to win but oh well. Congrats on winning the title. Atleast you guys have one good football team in Chicago! hahaha
June 12, 200619 yr The Rush's placekicker should seriously be in the NFL. That guy was super accurate.
June 12, 200619 yr QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jun 12, 2006 -> 09:40 AM) The Rush's placekicker should seriously be in the NFL. That guy was super accurate. No kidding!! A 52 yarder to end the half into that tiny little space inbetween the uprights a couple stories above the ground....great leg strength and accuracy.
June 12, 200619 yr QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 12, 2006 -> 02:53 PM) No kidding!! A 52 yarder to end the half into that tiny little space inbetween the uprights a couple stories above the ground....great leg strength and accuracy. supposedly he misses some extra point kicks though which is kind of funny. I guess in the NFL with more space he wouldnt miss them but I wouldnt know since I dont watch the AFL.

A 52 yarder to end the half into that tiny little space inbetween the uprights a couple stories above the ground....great leg strength and accuracy. I guess he could hit a 53 yarder into that little space. Pretty good IMO.

Dude, you really need to start doing some research and checking facts before you keep making these blanket statements. :headshake

June 12, 200619 yr congrads to the rush! one thing that was real cool. in the 4th quarter when the rush were winning, instead of running a run play to let the clock run. they took 2 snaps and passed the ball to huge pockets of rush fans in Vegas. classy!
June 12, 200619 yr QUOTE(whitem0nkey @ Jun 12, 2006 -> 02:33 PM) congrads to the rush! one thing that was real cool. in the 4th quarter when the rush were winning, instead of running a run play to let the clock run. they took 2 snaps and passed the ball to huge pockets of rush fans in Vegas. classy! That because in the AFL you have to advance the ball. You can't take knees. But it was cool that D'Orazio threw it right into the group of Rush fans.
