Hey Tiger fans, I'm curious, are there any good Tiger sites on the web? If not, would you guys be interested if we could put together some sort of site for you all (not that you aren't welcome here, cause you are, but a place that you guys could call home).

You tell me cause a lot of you seem like damn good posters who follow your team and other teams. We could probably put something together.

2 on, 2 out for Frank in the 8th. Cmon big man, help your old team out.

Boy that looks familiar :bang

A's threatening in the 9th

Runners on 1st and 2nd. 2 dead.

Cmon Ellis.

Looks like they're going to extras.

Billy Beane really assembled a gem of a lineup for that team. Going through that lineup's OPS numbers is down right pathetic: .663, .686, .809, .878, .707, .700, .791, .659, .624.

Walkoff single for the A's! And Pudge got ran over on the final play without the ball :P

Ouch. ANd they beat the Tiggers 2 in a row. Ouch.

Crosby ran over Vance Wilson, not Pudge.

GO GO A's...where are the tigers fans???

Would of been better if it was Ivan. I hate him for stealing Fisk's nickname.

They lost?!?!? OPAH!

Well these two games sucked. Last night the umps give us no strike zone (granted the homer was what beat us), and today our hitting went to hell in a handbasket. We didn't deserve this one at all. If you can't score in extras with a man on 2nd and none out, you don't deserve to win. Bottom line.

:cheers

thank you oakland.

now complete the sweep tomorrow.

Rodney is one of Detroit's weak links.

Todd Jones is another.

But I've quit waiting for Verlander to hit the wall.

he's the real deal.

You can be the real deal and still hit a wall. The sudden increase in innings pitched can kill a young pitcher's arm, just ask Mark Prior. Verlander is most definately on pace for a dead arm period or atleast a lapse in production due to the huge increase in innings from last year to this year.

Right. Verlander is one hell of a pitcher and is going to give us fits for years to come. That being said, he's never pitched over 130 innings and at some point in the 2nd half I do expect some sort of dead arm period.

Rodney is one of Detroit's weak links.

Why is that? Because he has had a couple of bad games recently?

He's still holding opponents to a .179 BAA, and he strikes out over 9 batters per 9 IP.

This was his line through the end of June: 2.79 ERA/1.10 WHIP/.160 BAA

Splits:

April: 0.00 ERA/0.80 WHIP/.118 BAA

May: 2.08 ERA/1.00 WHIP/.122 BAA

June: 5.17 ERA/1.28 WHIP..220 BAA

Furthermore, if you paid any attention to Rodney last year, you could see that he was well on his way to becoming a dominant setup man.

I don't know which school of baseball thought that you graduated from, but I can assure you that Rodney ain't no weak link.

Tigers @ A's at 2:35 today. Rogers vs Saarloos.

Lets get this lead down to 1 before we play the O's tonight.

I hope this guy loses:
