You can't play that way against Oswalt. He has good enough control where he'll get into the 8th inning easily. We just need to score some runs against him. Taking pitches will result in a look of 0-2 situations.

I shudder to think what a team in the AL would be doing to Vasquez right now. When a team like the Astros (ranks 20/30 in MLB in runs scored) is smacking you around the field, you know your stuff is ineffective.

Yay for pickoffs.

Time for us to Crede the Stros.

that was close.

Astros have been taking good swings all series long.

Hopefully they continue to swing well in Detroit.

Oh Pauly, I love it when you remind us why we love you.

Well vasquez as you know has been suspect all year. he throws a ton of pitches in five innings. Furthermore he has been on my s*** list since he did not throw at texas after the AJ beaning. He lost my respect that night. It should have never gotten to Tracey having to get involved. He does seem to get run support so maybe our bats will come through a little each inning.

PK with a double. nice work Paul.

Good start to this inning. I think this radar gun is 3-4 mph fast tonight.

*calls ESPN studios to cancel post game show*

Wow, you are slow.

Yep. One of those nights so far.

WTF!!!

Good start to this inning.

Not so much

That's just f***ing stupid by PK. Taveras is known for having a great arm in CF.

sending him was a terrible idea.

Paulie was that really worth the risk?

Has Dye hit a ball solid in the last 5 games? He was due for a bad stretch.

Well that sucked.

I think AJ averages 1.1 pitches per AB.

Anybody but Paulie. That was just an awful decision.

Isn't that like the 3rd time this year where PK has been thrown out in a similar situation?
