Sox @ Cubs - July 1

So will Pods walk or strike out looking here? I'm saying a 90% of one of these to occur.

3.5 out, dammit

or 1.5

It is a dumb idea to PH a player just to have them bunt unless it is Paul or Thome, in which case they are swinging away no matter what. None of the blame can go on Ozzie there. HE did what ever manager would do.

I'm talking about letting Anderson swing away. Forget it for now, though. 9th is on.

having BA bunt there when a deep fly to center advances both runners easily with Pierre's arm....

3-0 to Pods.

For all those advocating that we bench BA, who do you propose we play in centerfield on a regular basis? I've got no problem doing this with an adequate replacement....but since we have no other great options at this time, we have to let BA continue working on his offensive production (unless Kenny is able to fleece another team out of a capable CF)

Has anyone else noticed that this year's Sox team never seems to hit-and-run?

Here is another meathead double switch.

Konkero is out, because Ozzie needed to have a double switch. How about taking Brian Anderson out, putting the pitcher in that spot, and then putting mack in center. We get Mack to leadoff. Ross is not a good leadoff guy, as he swings at everything.

Now if we do tie it, we dont have Kong or Thome in the game.

Dumb

Ozzie is a managing trainwreck in NL park. Also apparantly when we go to an NL park ozzieball, smallball and smartbal is in full effect. I'm going to go puke in the bushes.

Drat. Full count.

One out.

Well, our worthless leadoff hitter keeps the status quo.

He is so f***ing useless.

Exactly. We're handcuffed because we don't have one guy on the roster that's capable of playing even a decent CF.

Why would you want an easy out with nothing to gain over a productive out.

Two down.

Seriously, I wish Dempster was a good closer. We do better against those ones than we do against s***ty ones.

Yah, he didn't have a double to give us a chance to take the lead with no outs or anything.

What a horrible day of execution by the Sox.

Piniella suggesting a bunt.

Has he watched today's game?

I remember when I posted this on numerous occasions the second half of last season, and the beginning of this season. Everytime I was cussed out repeatedly. I guarantee he will not be in a Sox uniform come 2007. KW is seeing what we are seeing.

LMAO@these moron Cubs fans on their feet, as if this games matters for them.

Please, Dye!

Now its time for Dye to do something here.

OK, come on now, Jermaine!!!

lets go jd
