White Sox Firefox Extension

Featured Replies

Just a suggestion, but instead of the ESPN salaries page, you could use something like this, which is much more in depth about each players contract, etc.

Excellent extension :)

Go here:

https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions.php?app=firefox

I use about 30 different extensions myself. The extensions make the browser way more user-friendly and add capabilities you cannot get in other browsers.

I have been working it.

I actually have a new working version for FF2.0, but I need to re-check all the links since some things have changed.

I will PM you when I post back here with the updated link. Probably later today or tomorrow at the latest.

Thanks, I missed that when I upgraded Firefox :cheers

Looks good, but the hardball times links are labeled harball times. Thanks for this though, it's nice. As a result of this thread I've wasted a good amount of time on the add-on website. I got a few on here now, very cool stuff.

*18DEC06 Update*

- Updated for Firefox 2.0.1

- Added Toby Hall, dropped Sandy Alomar

- Changed Harball Times to Hardball Times

- Next Update will include other roster changes, and I will add some top prospect links (Sweeney, Fields, Haeger, etc). Also trying to figure out how to get XML to recognize & signs in URLs so I can add Rotoworld links.

Damn, next update will have McCarthy removed and the others added.

*08FEB07 Update*

- Added new players (along with some prospects)

- Dropped departed players

- Next Update - I will add the remaining players from the 40 man roster, along with links for Ozzie and KW since they generate some interest. Some other areas I will add will be related to the White Sox Minor League affiliates, and some ticket and other merchandise links.

If anyone has any other suggestions, new links, etc, please let me know. It is not too much trouble to make changes to this now that it is complete. I am also adding it to the Mozilla Extensions site which should generate more interest.

FYI, I am creating a White Sox theme for Firefox and should have that completed by the start of the regular season. Check back here for that as well. I should have a beta release within the next week.

Love the extension. Might want to change the Palehose 6 link to the PaleHose 7.

Cool, glad you like it. The theme is going good, just making some sizing adjustments.

Good to hear! Can't wait.

I updated the White Sox Firefox Extension with the Cabrera transaction, but I am waiting until after the Winter Meetings to release an update. The current one is posted here with the addition of Cabrera:

http://www.pcgamingtech.net/downloads/whitesox.xpi

Just select the link and choose "Open" (with FireFox), then click to "Install Now". After install, then select "Restart FireFox".

I am working on a Prospects section that will include links for the top 10-20 prospects in the organization. Anyone have any suggestions on good sites to link? Baseball Cube, Baseball America, etc? Thanks.
