This is officially corpseball offense we are seeing here. It fishing arrives every year after the Allstar Break for a few weeks.

 

All you see is people pull everything on the ground, or popping things up. You may see the occasional homer. But this needs to fishing go away quickly. I never saw corpseball coming back this year. Not with all of the 300 hitters.

 

Someone needs to earn their money and get these guys back to hitting line drives.

From my calculations, we have 4 runs in our last 5 games without the use of a homer.
