If Cotts follows his season long pattern, he'll give up a hit or two, to allow the men on base to score before getting out of the inning - and his ERA will actually lower.

I'm not doubting that, the numbers are what they are....I've just seen Cotts come into games too often, and just contribute to the other team's inning before settling down.

I would have rather had Boone Logan pitch to Blalock then to leave Jenks in to face another hitter.

Did Cy Young start or was it John Koronka. How the fish did we not get to him. Only 4 hits. Does everyone on the team want to be home in October. This is a bad pitcher, how did we not score like 5 runs in the first inning.
