Featured Replies

What two sport games should I buy? I need some help. I am looking between two of these kinds of games: baseball, basketball, football. Give me some help.

Two suggestions

Madden 2007

NCAA football 2007

I am thinking Madden, but I am not sure about another football game. For all the PS2 games, do you have to have a memory card or something to save seasons?

Yeah, you need a memory card. I usually go either or for Madden and NCAA rather than both.

Even though it isn't one of the sports you listed, the Tiger Woods golf series is awesome for PS2, especially for in the dorms

NCAA Football 07

Tiger Woods

If you're only going to get 1 football game, I'd say get NCAA Football 07, but that's just me. I prefer college to pro sports, so I always will opt for the college game. Plus, I love dynasty mode and recruiting, rather than signing free agents.

Though, if you don't mind getting 2 football games, get Madden. It's always lots of fun to recruit a freshman, watch him move up in the college world, and then draft him on your NFL team.

As SnB said, Tiger Woods is also a great option. Surprisingly, it's a lot of fun.

I can't say much about basketball or baseball b/c I haven't owned either one in the last 2 years, so I don't know how they've evolved.

MVP baseball 05, i can't live without it!

Speaking of going to college my brother is going this yr. and hes planning on bring the 360. that aint going to happen on my watch!

Yeah, you need a memory card, and those two games take up quite a bit of space. I personally prefer NCAA Football, but that's just me. I'd skip basketball personally unless it's NBA Street. It's obviously more of an arcade style game that isn't for everyone. For baseball, definitely MVP 2005, that's solid and cheap.

MVP 05, seriously. The only catch is you'd have to buy one of those Sharkports and transfer rosters from the internet to your system. Mine are pretty up to date because I've been working on them for the past 2 years.

Otherwise, MLB 06 The Show is alright. Can't go wrong with Madden. NCAA is fun if you know the players. I don't, therefore I find it boring. Tiger Woods games are REALLY fun to play with friends, believe it or not. We play Tiger the most up at school.

Memory cards are a given. Gotta get one.

NCAA Football 07

fifa 06

Madden 07

NCAA Football 07/NCAA Baseball 06

FIFA 07.

and Madden 07.

PERIOD.

MVP 05 is better than the MVP 06 (which is NCAA)....im a big college baseball fan, but the game itself just isnt the same....

Dont waste money on Madden.. it aint worth it

How's that NFL Coach game?

Didn't get many great reviews from what I heard. A lot of micro - management.

Alright, I think I have made up my mind. MVP '05 and NCAA Football '07. What do you guys think of that mix?

Who needs games? Porn. Lots and lots of porn.

Have your PC, download a N64 emulator, WWE No Mercy and then get the hacks for TNA wrestlers, current roster for WWE, the 6 sided iMPACT! ring et al.

As for PS2 sports games, go for SmackDown vs Raw 2007. Almost all wrestling games have a ton of replay value. Hell, I'm still playing the old WCW vs nWo for N64.

Where do you get those hacks from? and how exactly do you apply them to the game?
