Lets see Garland throw that changeup strikeout against Tejeda and win again. He has been the only one able to win as of late so he should be the one who gives us our first series victory too.. since the AS break.

Its setting up perfect for big Jon to get a nice easy win today and then Vaz can have not as much pressure and throw a decent game. Our offense SHOULD carry us these 2 games and give the pitchers some confidence.

Ya its Johnson...my local paper said the same thing. I actually played against him in high school, our team hit him pretty well actually that game. Just kinda interesting to see him starting in the majors now.

Remember when everyone was crying everytime John took the mound? There was so much talk around here about getting him traded, now look at him. And now it's Freddy and Javy getting thrown under the bus. Everyone will do fine. When we make the playoffs, everyone will step up again and kill.

 

That said, a win today would be very nice and confidence boosting.
