They did not go up and under his hands with the good fastball, which is his weak spot.

This goes back to what we talked about. Both Thornton and Cotts can't pitch inside against lefties. Neither have overly pinpoint control, and they throw their fastballs to the outside corner about 99 pct of the time. Marte was the same way actually.

Crede went off, Mark looked solid after the first two innings, and we played basically a very solid, fundamental game until the little explosion by Matt, but luckily we got out with the tie.
