OSU plays Michigan at home and goes on the road to Iowa for a night game. Going to be very tough to win there at night. It is going to be interesting to see how good both Texas and or OSU is in the second week. We will find out a lot about both those teams. If OSU happens to lose, luckily it will be so early in the season that if they run the table the rest of the season they will have a great chance of playing in the NC game.

20 days to OSU vs NIU.

Setember 9 - 7:00pm Central

National coverage on ABC in High Definition

This is what college football is all about. Great intersectional games early in the season rather than loading up on cupcakes. ABC is stepping up their HD offerings this year, which is a great thing!

Is it wrong that the one thing I'm looking forward to the most the football season, college and pro, is to see games in HD. Never seen a football game in HD.

dude, c'mon over let's drink a beer and watch some football!!!

FWIW, the CBS SEC game on Saturday afternoon looks the best. CBS broadcasts in 1080i, as does NBC, but their picture is far superior. ABC and ESPN broadcast in 720p which is slightly lower resolution, but arguably better for pictures with heavy motion such as sports. ESPN's picture looks great as well, but take the time to catch the CBS game and you will see what I mean.

How much is ESPN Gameplan on Direct TV?

Wow, I just saw the line-up for Sept 16th...

LSU @ Auburn 3:30 ET

Miami @ Louisville 3:30 ET

Oklahoma @ Oregon 3:30 ET

ND @ Michigan 3:30 ET

Nebraska @ USC not sure

Florida @ Tennessee 8:00 can't watch no matter what

How the hell am I supposed to tailgate for FSU/Clemson (7:45 ET) that day?

It's mighty early, though. I don't even know if I'll make it over there.

I was told Gameplan will be $99 dollars up until August 29th.

Just bring it!

Open practice for ISU yesterday:

Bret Meyer: "Don't go to class on Thursday. Practice tailgating tonight and then don't go to class. Tailgate all day."

DeAndre Jackson: "We gonna get crunk and kick some ass."

Oh, you.

Six days.

I wish we played on the 2nd like everyone else...I don't think I can wait until the 4th :(

It also sucks that the game is @ scUM but whatever. A lot of teachers are already cancelling classes for the 5th.

awwww, I feel so bad for you that the game is being played in Miami. I guess I will be sad when Miami has to play up there next year. maybe we can call the AD's and ask them to play the game in Tally every year to make you feel better.

Illinois-Rutgers is on ESPNU right now

:D

(I really don't have anything against you, it's just I have to talk s*** because we're rivals)
