thats a bad play by brian, on the jays replay it certainly looked like he didn't run full out during the last 10yards. If he does he can catch that

It was definitely high. When the catcher catches it and throws his glove back down threw the zone, it's high.

Perhaps he didn't want to knock himself unconscious? That would make it harder to hold on to the ball.
