Wow, overmatched much, AJ?

Have I said how grateful I am that he was starting tonight? :P

We should be winning this if Ozzie knew when to pull pitchers or we could do some moderate damage with no outs and the bases loaded.

Yup this team is half-assing it.

Good job Joe.

We need two more runs.

maybe if they werent half assing it for the first 6 innings we would be winning

1 & 3rd one out for the LA dodgers...dude gets thrown out at home trying to steal....

the NL intelligence level is what?

Stranger s*** has happened....but if we somehow pull out a win with those three scheduled to bat .....well that would be beyond strange.

A lefty against Rivera has to take that inside pitch and force him to the outside. He rides his pitch inside to lefties, and if you swing you look silly like AJ

Who would you plug in?

Bench AVG R HR RBI

R. Gload 1B .284 13 1 12

S. Alomar C .310 3 0 11

R. Mackowiak CF .299 23 3 15

J. Uribe SS .246 37 14 53

DING DING DING

Is Uribe healthy enough to pinch hit? He helped to beat Rivera last year.

Or maybe we could tip our hat to Randy Johnson, he made some mistakes that he did get away with...but overall he was pretty good.

I would love for someone to ask him why didn't he IBB ARod with runners on 2nd and 3rd, 1 out, and slow batter up next when it was 5-0?

ross sandy AND rob go in

did Buck just say that we have a very good bullpen?

Great comeback. Sox would be ahead if Ozzie was smart and didn't let Jon hang out to dry. Hey Ozzie, Torre pulled Johnson WHILE HE WAS UNDER 100 PITCHES! YOU'RE ALLOWED TO DO THE SAME THING!

Even if he was, Ozzie won't pinch hit a righty, he just won't.

One thing we should keep in mind, including me, is that Rivera would have been in to face Crede if Crede represented the tying run.

Exactly...I would only consider Uribe if he was healthy...

"i make the f'n lineup. I make the decisions."

it should include "i cost this team games"

him pitching well doesnt excuse us being down 7-0

can it be done again........against arguably the best closer ever

You dont want lefties against Rivera

This is usually something I don't say, but even if we can't tie this and win it next inning, I think this can help the momentum of the team. If you disagree...then shame on me for being optimistic.

You know, I was thinking exactly that. He probably would keep the lefty in even though righties do much better against him.
