August 21, 200619 yr anyone gonna try and meet him at any of the games I'm going tomorrow and my seats are reasonably close to the visitors dugout, but I don't know what to expect really, or if I'll have the courage to come up to him if he pops out
August 21, 200619 yr I'd be interested in hearing whether he gets any sort of special welcome (boos or cheers or just indifference).
August 22, 200619 yr QUOTE(maggliopipe @ Aug 21, 2006 -> 03:06 PM) I'd be interested in hearing whether he gets any sort of special welcome (boos or cheers or just indifference). He got cheered when he was carried off the field (injured).
August 22, 200619 yr Ron Santo was on the radio, and he guaranteed there must be something seriously wrong with him. Hopefully he's ok, as I don't think Santo knows much about leg injuries. Sprained ankle for Rowand

August 22, 200619 yr Author well Rowand didn't really come out to talk to fans pre-game so I didn't get to talk to him or anything, but atleast he received a mostly friendly reception from fans during the game and got cheered after the collision
August 22, 200619 yr QUOTE(Reddy @ Aug 21, 2006 -> 11:51 PM) the collision was sick. it's amazing its only a sprained ankle Holy s*** I just saw it.. :o It is Crash though so I'm not surprised.
August 22, 200619 yr http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2557309 As the Phillies make their push for the NL wild card, they reportedly will have to do it without starting center fielder Aaron Rowand. Sources told The Philadelphia Daily News that Rowand suffered a broken ankle in a scary outfield collision with teammate Chase Utley on Monday night and will miss at least five weeks.
