Wow....one of the most impressive managed innings I've ever seen.

So Pods actually found a way to strike out on only 2 strikes? :P

i'm getting flashbacks of 2000 against seattle

Go away

At least the defense is now improved. Pods would have K'd too.

He did. :P

I hate you Scott Podsednik. Leyland just shoved it up Ozzie's ass.

In all fairness, Brian was screwed from the second Oz called him to pinch hit. Should have left Pods in and try to bunt with two strikes.

That makes what--eleven LOB?

Yeah, not even I understand that statement about 2000.

The White Sox WILL lose this game. I guarangoddamnphawkin'tee it!

I'm not blaming Anderson at all. That was one of those situations where our manager didn't put a player in the best chance to succeed (Fathom's #1 rule of managing).

cintron has been just awful tonight

Cintron absolutely BLOWS batting right handed! I'd rather see him just bat left all the time.

I would have made him bunt with 2 strikes. Then I would have used Anderson as a defensive sub.

Minnesota up 4-1 in the top of the ninth...

Honestly this is the most anemic I've seen an offense that's scored 7 runs look.

If the Sox lose this game, I wonder who Freddy's going to blame cuz it sure as hell isn't going to be himself.

Granderson really is trying to resemble Pods now.

Even if they win, they have played total horse s**t ball. Man! They are scuffling....HUGE!

It's too bad we had to waste MacDougal last night.

No "Suck 'em up Joe"? Terrific play by Crede. At least he looks rejuvenated the past few days.

Even worse, what happens if we WIN this game? :bang

That's bad baseball. In comes MacDougal.

Come to think of it, I have seen a black Peter Pan before...

At this point in the season, I don't care if the other team makes 100 errors, I'll take a win no matter what.

Thought the same thing. Riske and/or Cotts could have sucked up those innings last night as that game was long over.

Ozzie wouldn't have been put in a difficult situation if one of his starters simply gets the ball down like Ozzie has been crying for all year long. Even extra bunting hasn't helped. It's on the players shoulders for not completing the easy task.

I think MacDougals our best reliever right now

I heard Sean Casey on the pregame show say this tonight "everyone in the clubhouse knows that if you're not doing the job, Leyland will replace you with someone that can in a heartbeat". I miss the days when we thought the same about Ozzie.

What about that Brendan McCartney guy? I haven't heard about him in forever.
