Was PK standing on the base? I understand how he was out, but he must have not been running hard to be out by that far.

He simply has no speed. Give the guy a break.

I'm not sure why we need to call up another pitcher. Our bullpen has been fine lately and they aren't being overworked, even with as bad as our rotation has been.

So, Mr. Garcia. Will 6 runs be enough for you this night? You know, since you lost your last start because we didn't hit.

My theory is if Thome is out, just stick Gload in there...If 6, 7 runs a game isn't enough for this chump pitching we don't deserve it anyway.

The hitting has carried this pitching staff all year (save Jose some and Garland some)...now is the time for these pitchers to get it going.

Freddy will give up atleast 2 this inning. It is guaranteed.

Singleton says the game is far from being over. Nice confidence in Freddy.

In fairness, Farmer spews the same s*** when we're down by 6 in the 8th.

I was at the game, so can anyone tell how farmer was reacting after Cintron's grand slam against the Royals?

No it won't. Tracey can't find anything right now, Logan isn't needed, and no one else deserves a promotion. Our offense has been sporatic at best, we need a hitter, strikeouts be damned.

Neal Cotts says hello.

I thought the same thing. For it not even being close is downright puzzling.

Logan still isn't ready though.

That problem is alleviated when McCarthy, you know, pitches more than once a week.

We won the World Series last year with Carl Everett as our DH!!! He's a free agent now!!!!

Freddy's fastball couldn't break a China Set if he hit it from 10 feet away.

i just got back from florida yesterday. who did the tigers trade to the cubs to get perez?

Nonsense. I've seen him score from second on a home run.

Freddy having trouble putting away a little league hitter.

The only thing Freddy's fastball has broken lately is my heart.

Have you seen his numbers down at Charlotte? He deserves another shot.

Freddy really battles and after 9 pitches, puts away a quality hitter in Neifi Perez.

Yep....we're not going to call up Fields to be a DH.

LMAO...And the little league hitter /sarcasm SMOKES /sarcasm off one ... I have to LMAO at Detroit for picking up Perez, the guy stinks.

Willie Harris hit .400 at Charlotte. Big deal

I saw that 6'8 kid from Saudi Arabia play the other day. That kid swings like a girl. Now I feel bad for picking on a "13 year old".

I've seen them, and they confirm that I think he'll be a damn good lefty out of our pen. But not this year, and rushing him up again and putting him in a tough spot won't help.

No he doesn't. Not yet...he needs another year of seasoning.

With a lot of power

We all know Ozzie loves his matchups. It'd be nice to have another lefty besides Thornton we can count on late in the game.
