Kalapse name one situation in baseball, one manager who puts in the

closer in a 2 run game and doesn't let him finish or blow it in the process.

My god.

HE'S NOT EVEN CLOSE TO 100 PERCENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why is that so hard for you to understand?

They said he was brutal on Monday night in Boston in the bullpen, and they still put his fat ass on the mound.

Hey, football started.

here comes a walk

for christ sake, the game ain't over yet, sissies.

It's easy to understand fathom.

If he's cleared to play, then he's cleared to play.

You ever played hurt in a sport????

What can't you understand about a closer being put in to close???

You don't yank him. You let him get the save or fail like EVERY f***ing

manager in baseball does!!!!!

Nice game by Freddy. Too bad it was wasted.

My god.

Whhy would you leave him in if he's hurt and obviously doesn't have it? It was shockingly appearant that he had nothing tonigh, just look at my posts over the past few pages, he needs to be pulled imediately. he had nothing, you have to get him out of there and get someone in who can get people out.

GITP?

You guys are A BUNCH OF f***ING WHINERS! Blame f***ing everything on Ozzie. At the sight of Hermanson warming up, you guys were pulling for Jenks to close. Now Jenks failed, you blame on Ozzie. You guys are so f***ing pathetic!

No, we didn't want Hermanson to be closing. I have no problem with Jenks starting this inning. However, once he got to a situation where Sizemore could do damage, you have to pull him.

If that's true, again the finger points to Ozzie and his staff.

If they don't get another run this inning I may have to pinch myself because I'll be dreaming.

Bring in SHINGO!!

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

You are forgetting one part of your little simulation. Lets add the fact that they packed him up, put him on a plane and send him home, then they put him in a machine to see why his hip hurts because its obviously is bothering him. You dont give a guy an MRI unless you think something might not be kosher.

It was obvious he was going to fail, why not get someone in there who has a much better chance of succeeding?

guess the score after this half of the inning. Im going to guess Cle- 9 Sox- 5

^^^^^^

What he said.

I can't believe anyone could be this dense. Jenks is hurt. He's been saying all week that he's hurt and obviously isn't 100%. When you put your closer into the game in THAT situation, then he has to be on a short leash. THAT is the situation where you don't leave your closer out there to give out double after double after double. Do you get it...finally?

Are there fireworks after the game? I'm surprised half the crowd didn't leave.

I don't blame Ozzie for Jenks inability to get it done tonight or in Boston last series, like I don't blame Ozzie when Thome strikes out swinging or Konerko douple plays or AJ swings at a first pitch that would've hit him if he hadn't swung.

Because guys, the way teams do it is the f***ing trainer deems if a guy

if fit to play or not.

That's why they call it a TEAM.

If the f***ing trainer and GM deem the guy fit to play he is our CLOSER.

He gets the call.

He failed; but if you want to blame the manager every night, have at it.

When are you going to blame our f***ing players????

Jenks is our f***ing closer, if you are not aware! Do you think Torres will pull Mariano after two men got on base when his team is leading by two runs? Have some decency to acknowledge this is all on Jenks!

QUOTE(greg775 @ Sep 8, 2006 -> 10:38 PM)
Give me a break. The closer closes. He failed!

Case closed. It's all on Jenks.

I hesitate to put much blame on injured players.
