White Sox v. Angels, 9/11, Gamethread

Featured Replies

Konerko said Thome was a big reason he re-signed with the White Sox. Those clamouring for Frank Thomas, ignore the Thome/Thomas numbers and try to imagine the Sox without Konerko. Of course they probably would have brought another guy in, but most likely a big downgrade.

nice pitch.

A couple of nice comebacks by Contreras this inning.

Good job by Jose fighting back in that at - bat.

Let's hope he gets a little more command next inning, as it's their best chance to put up a big rally with Chone then the top of the order.

Joses only at 68 pitches

It's too bad, the Bears magic number was ready to dwindle down even more.

Yah. I don't think you'll have too much to worry about in that division though. Minny wasn't all that good, Skins just sucked ass on D bigtime. It was awful to watch.

BTW, Chris Young hit his 2nd career homer.

:(

Damn John Hall and a stupid face mask.

Damn them indeed.

It would be nice if our relief corp learned something about pitching from watching Jose

Yeah, the bandwagon here in Chicago couldn't be more crowded than it is for the Bears.

Yep...throw 94 mph and have a world-class forkball.

That face mask was just stupid, but the other personal foul on Taylor was complete bulls***.

Is there a problem? If so, I have no problem talking to you about in with PM's. A game thread is no place for it.

im just b****ing about being a b****

I'm glad to see that Contreras' back isn't hurting him anymore.

(I'm of the opinion that his back was aching, but I don't buy the Buehrle-is-hurt! theory.)

BTW, Mike Cameron Jr. hit his 2nd career homer.

fixed :D

Pods just ignites the offense. He gets on, gets over, and gets in. Pitchers fear him when he gets on as he distrupts the pitcher.

Then again, that was pre2005 asb Pods and not the shadow prancer that is inhabiting LF this year.

or Eric Davis Jr. :P

Our guys start pulling the ball again, and we go 1-2-3.

Nice job guys. Walk must be back in the dugout again. Someone get a shiny light and distract him next inning.

Big inning for Contreras coming up. If Chone gets on base, he might as well just pitch from the wind-up.

Losing in football sucks way worse than losing in baseball. Especailly when it is against a team that you should beat at home. Baseball you always have a chance to turn things around. If you lose the wrong one in football it could just kill you at the end of the year.

:crying

And considering this is a White sox board. Cmon Jose. Big inning hear with FIggins starting it off. He has some big hits off of him.

nice, but Javy has been dealing for his past 53 innings, and i think hes going to usurp MB as an Ace on this staff.
