OSU rolls. Oden played well in his first game back. He had 14 points and 10 rebounds.

These refs are f***ing terrible what a joke. Have to love that the more aggressive team can't get any calls.

It's the Lute Olson factor.

f***ing joke, we are gonna need to stay hot from the field to win this one. We are the far more aggressive team yet we shoot 10 less FTs and commit twice as many fouls...ya...

Fouls are what, 12-5? Love these neutral site games, eh?

We beat a team (ASU), despite trying to choke the game away! Woo! Go Gophers! Jim Molinari for president!

4 fouls on Carter, 4 for the half, 2:30 in.

Zona can thank the refs for even being in this game. That offensive foul on Arnold in this half was a joke. What a flop.

Dude just f***ing fell to the floor. Might as well do it every play, it will work.

They're gonna be in the bonus with about 14 minutes left.

How's that a foul on Pruitt ya f***in tools, offense initiated contact.

Edited by WHarris1

This officiating is flat out f***ing terrible. We're gonna have no chance in this game because of them. Carter and Pruitt with 4 with 16 minutes left.

As i type, they finally call A foul on Arizona. Wowee.

absolutely brutal officiating today. If the defense is standing with his arms up and the shooter runs into him, it's not a defensive foul, that's been called 3 times today I believe.

Carlwell is gonna have to have a huge game from here on out for us to have a chance.

It's sad when the announcers talk about blown calls against us multiple times. 18 to 6 fouls? I mean, come on already, this is a joke.

Already in the f***ing bonus. I can take losing but not when you are outplaying the other team and the refs won't let it be.

Ya were done, can't beat the refs and the Wildcats

and this ballgame is ova.

at least we came out looking a ton better than previous games.

Where does being jobbed by the refs factor into the RPI?

This is just terrible.

Wow, they called a carry on us???? Zona carried the ball in the first half quite a few times in the first half, no call.

This is funny in a sick way.

I'm just going to say it. The fix is in.

Thank you Bruce. These refs are f***ing retarded c***s and someone needed to tell them wtf is going on.

Refs are flat out trying to steal this game. Really too bad. We were the better team.

Good, Weber got a T.

f***ing refs, this is beyond ridiculous

1 foul out, think we can get 6 (2001 E8 style)

mcbride, sit the f*** down, you're terrible.

That foul by McBride was comical, is that seriously the best you could do?

mcbride has proven he doesnt deserve to be on the floor with less than 4 minutes

McBride is just a God damn moron.

Oh well, very proud of the team to stay in it without their 2 best players, on the road against a top 20 team, with you know who blowing sunshine up Lute's ass.

LMAO Bilas says Zona did a great job fouling the Illini out...pretty sure the Zona players had nothing to do with it.

Edited by WHarris1

We proved we could play with a top 20 team (without 2 starters), just not a top 20 team and the refs.

As they show the elite 8 game from 2005...nice. Remember that one lute? Asshole.

This team is going to be pretty damn good once it's healthy. Can't wait for that.

Edited by IlliniKrush

the refs were bad but totally didnt do us in although they made it much easier for arizona to score offensively ala the washington game last year; we still did nothing on the offensive end aggresive for a long stretch in that 2nd half

this game was eerily familiar to the 2001? elite eight game where everyone on our team fouled out and we lost to them

Yea our offense went cold but that's what happens when your leading scorer and also your best post presence are relegated to the bench.
