From watching him last year, this is basically what you get. He's not very good, and I'm shocked by the optimism some people have in regards to him because he put together a strong stretch against September call-ups in worthless Cubs games.

I've honestly never seen him pitch more than a few occasions. I watched fewer and fewer Cub games down the stretch once we were out of contention. Although, only benefit of Aardsma is he throws hard; and it's easier to teach pitches than velocity.

Whoever the Cubs CF is definitely slacked off on that ducksnort.

Yeah Fields!!!!

That would have been a 3run HR at the Cell.

Welcome to the parade, Fields.

there we go Josh, RBI double

Come on Sweet-Swingin' Ryan Sweeney...

oh i love me some sweeney

rbi groundout, oh well, it's somethin

13-2, I like this game.

damn nice play by valido and rogo

Bring the heat Captain Sisco

This beast of a man is inducing himself some weak grounders.

I can already tell Cooper has worked on Sisco's stride. It's noticeably longer -- similar to what Thornton had once on the White Sox.

That last 92 mph slider was filthy. Too bad he's around the zone.

Sisco and Booooone. The battle continues.

"meatloaf watching the game today" lol

nice K to end the game

That's the game. 13-2 White Sox.

Cubs still suck.

beautiful game, great first game of the year to watch

I was impressed by several players today, notably Valido, Garland, Kong and Dye. Pretty good game all around by everyone.

i was really happy with Danks as well

Good to see the Cubs are already in midseason form. More importantly, it was good to see the pitching looking good today.

Haeger has a really good knuckler and I liked what I saw of Danks and Gio. Garland was solid as well.

The whole team played well. I can see the Cubs picked up where they left off at the end of last season. A couple of nice homers by Konerko.

I like how the plays (or maybe it was player) of the game was soriano getting 3 hits, man i only watched about 2 innings and decided i would rather go back to work than listen to those guys
