But UK has basically any coach in the country for their choosing. Beilein, Crean, and Gillepsie are some of the obvious choices.

March 22, 200719 yr Congrats Felix, Tubby is a really good coach and he'll do a great job up there. I for some reason thought Billy Gillespie when I heard UK is open now though. I'm not sure why John Cal would leave Memphis, that situation is absolute glory for him.

And he lost quite a few players, including a couple to the NBA, after the 2004-2005 season and that went well.... If Matta leaves tOSU for Kentucky, he's a complete idiot BTW. No reason to do that at all. He can get any player he wants at tOSU, their facilities and fan support are 2nd to none, and their fans aren't even nearly as crazy as UK ones. March 22, 200719 yr He's a really good defensive coach, so he'll fit in in the Big 10. He's not a great recruiter by UK standards, but he'll have no problem getting good enough players to get you guys good again.

In terms of recruiting its lacking for a powerhouse like Kentucky. That being said there is some kick ass talent in Minnesota every year.
