We let Santana off the hook early with terrible ABs by Dye and Uribe. I still can't believe we couldn't find a spot for Eduardo Perez on this team. We've looked pretty miserable against LHP so far this year.

That said, Danks is looking pretty damn good out there right now and is holding his own against one of the top divisional teams so far.

That trade is the type of deal that I think the odds are greater that it works out even to a steal for the Sox as opposed to the other way around.

 

The Sox got two very talented arms and a very raw 3rd arm while giving up one good arm but without the upside of the two arms the Sox got. I can't believe how people could be so upset with that trade but I understand since Bmac was one of the first home grown pitchers to come up to the big league level and have actually have some success.
