At least we're making Harden throw a lot of pithes in this inning.

Yep, it worked great yesterday as well.

Somebody better tell Dye it's his contract year. He and Thome have been awful.

It's the two guys most likely to see drastic downfall from their stats from last year. We have to hope some people improve on their numbers enough to make up for the changes.

I think Dye realizes its his contract year, and is trying to hit everything over the fence for money.

Thome just doesnt know how not to swing for the fence.

hopefully this is the year for soxfans in oakland

Good inning by jose.

Well, JD I would expect. Thome, not so much. But I don't see any reason that we should see drastic downturns. Maybe a little bit less than last year, but not drastic. Of course, it doesn't help that 3 of our first 6 starts have been against CC, Santana, and Harden. That'll obviously kill our numbers early on.

And WTF is up with the server. It needs to see the doctor.

Everything by Crede is in the air.

Why must everyone boo Aj? They don't even know who he is.

Edited by TheOcho

Joe Crede with a good approach, short sweet, let the ball do all the work.

Way to chase ball 4 AJ. The bat speed by these guys so far this year is disturbing.

You realize that Oakland, and San Fran are like Naperville and Chicago as far as distance.

chat room.

Whoops, I forgot his brief time with Giants.

AJP also talked a lot of s*** during the Twins/A's series a few years back.

Haha. Poor Cintron. 3rd AB of the year against Harden. First start against him.

He's so nasty. Good job getting his PC up to 40 thru 2 tho.

I think that's the big thing. Whatever he did against Billy Koch all those years back. Hit a jack and then did something that pissed them all off.

He pissed them off in the 2002 playoffs when he hit a 3-run homer off of Botch. When he crossed home plate he yelled "booyah!"

If you watch the 2005 game 5 ALCS game where Crede has the go ahead hit, you can see AJ yell "booyah!" when he reaches second.

What did you think of Danks yesterday?

I was bouncing back and forth between three baseball games to entertain the guests so I didn't see too much. I missed Morneau's completely.

From what I saw he looked pretty good.

Ugh....I hate Oakland. Contreras can't keep going to 3 balls on these hitters though.

Boo.

Ugh Jose....better start throwing faster than 91 mph.

Walk, Dink and a blast. Man I love coming to Oaktown.

Good old Oakland I hate that f***kin place

f***ing 2 out rally. every night it seems
