Fascinating stat I heard today (haven't confirmed it, but I'm sure it's pretty accurate): Mark Buehrle has allowed a first inning run in 15 of his last 18 starts, including at least 8 starts in a row.

Back to .500 with a nice series win. I was very confident until the loss yesterday, but going into this series I wasn't going to complain with 2/3.

Wow, great comeback after a tough loss last night.

It would of been nice to get the win last night but you can never complain about taking 2/3 in Oakland.

2/3 in Oakland is still pretty damn good.

They're OK, but not as good as what they've had there in the recent past. We should've taken 3/3. The attitude of "Well, we never do well there anyway" isn't acceptable, IMO.

Did anybody who watched the game notice what Mark's fastball was clocked at?

First series win in Oakland in seven years??

I can't believe that!

I'll take it. Pitching is really coming together. Can't wait for the hitting to heat up.

Payback for last night. I was so pissed off last night...

It still sucks we could have had a sweep, but hey, it could have been worse.

Great job by the pitching and the timely hitting.

It would be nice if our hitting would be a little more consistent.

Perfect comeback win. Aardsma looks good, good to see Jenks rebound, and to the offense for getting some clutch hits and walks when it counted.

And well done to Mark for a good outing after the start he had.

Had to leave during the top of the 9th. When I came back, I was a little more than weary of checking the score. Great win. Great pitching. Timely hitting.

The big difference is that you took your pic. I stole my pic from someone on ebay trying to sell a t-shirt.

LOL, that totally ruined it for me (and you!) :cheers

"It's nice to win here for the first time since Billy Pierce was playing for the White Sox," - Ozzie Guillen after today's win.

Hell I believe it...seems like more if you ask me. What can you actually do about it?!?...warm up longer? What the hell game was that last year he gave up 8-9 in the first?

That game was against the Cubs, and it was Buehrle's first real, real, real bad game last year. He just got shelled.

Are you sure he isn't talking about the game against the Twins where he ended up getting the win?

Somebody please give me a recap. What great play did Anderson make that saved a run. Must of been when I had to run outside.

We haven't agreed on much; however, this we do agree on.

Diving catch. If you go to the MLB recap you can find a link to the highlight.

I don't think Anderson should start over Erstad. Over Podsednik, yes, but if it's Erstad or Anderson, then it's Erstad.
